WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Chill,

upbeat,

eccentric,

contemplation.

Sit back in the beach chair, take it all in, let it all go.

Anything beach is welcome, but not required.
We like locales, art, music, film, pop culture, food, dive bars, sand in right and wrong places.

Themed issues will pop up from time to time,
so keep a look out!

SIMULTANEOUS SUBMISSIONS

Simultaneous subs are welcome, but please email us to withdraw a piece if it is accepted elsewhere. And congrats!

PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED

While we would prefer a fresh poetic breeze, we do accept previously published poems (in print only or in an online journal that is now defunct), but please tell us who first published the piece so that we can make sure to give credit.

HOW TO SEND

Please email your submission of up to 5 poems as a single .docx, .pdf, or in the body of the email to: beachchairpress@gmail.com

RESPONSE TIME

Response time should be within one month, possibly sooner. Feel free to query after 30 days.

Publication dates may vary. Please check info for particular issues.

By submitting, you’re allowing us to publish and archive your work on this site. However, all rights to your work will remain with you.

Beach Chair Press is a non-paying market at this time, but we will nominate for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net.

There is no submission fee.
