Halloween seems to have
Become a holiday where
People misbehave sexually
Or hope they can because
A costume gives them license
Or perhaps it’s just that the line
Between the living and the dead
Has become so fine that you
Figure you’d better live it up
And live it up hard before
The day of the dead comes
Knocking.
